An Assignment Sale occurs when the original buyer (Assignor) transfers their rights in an under-construction or unregistered property to a new buyer (Assignee) before registration. The new buyer completes the transaction directly with the builder and becomes the first registered owner.
This legally recognized process involves three parties: Builder, Assignor, and Assignee, ensuring transparency and structured documentation.
